The entry requirements into the National Diploma programmes in Agricultural Technology, Animal Health and Production Technology, Home and Rural Economics and Horticultural Technology are all similar. The candidates must have a credit pass in at least five subjects at the West African Senior School Certificate (WASSCE), National Examinations Council (NECO), General Certificate of Education (GCE) Ordinary Level or National Business and Technical Education Board (NABTEB) examinations, in not more than two sittings. The subjects include Biology/Agricultural Science, Chemistry, Mathematics, English Language, Physics, Statistics, Computer Science, Geography, Economics and Home Economics. Such candidates must have passed the examination of the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) and scored at least 120 points.
For the Higher National Diploma programmes, the candidates must have credit passes in the O’ Level subjects listed above. In addition, the candidates must have not less than a Lower Credit pass at the National Diploma programme in the relevant field.
